李季 Li Ji as Ling Li (LL)
The papers he found on the CEO's desk was about a medicine product that RJX propose.
RJX comes in nervously, the CEO ask her to pack her thing. RJX said, "Did I do anything wrong?" The CEO said she is moving her to the research and development department. The CEO likes her product idea and wants to make it a real product for the company.
These two finally meet. LL looks surprise and says, "It's you."
RJX: "Do I know you?"
LL: "You don't know me but I know you. So you are called RJX. I now announce that I will chase after you."
While RJX returns from work, she sees a man with the mark that could lead her to whoever killed her parents.
She follows the man to Mei Hwa.
The man picks at the lock and looks for something in the CEO's room.
Why would the japanese group want to sneak into Mei Hwa? Mei Hwa has nothing to do with politics or war, it's just a cosmetic company.
RJX has been following the man and doing a very great up until now. The man was about to kill her but.........
ZZ comes and saves her! She ask the man, "Who are you?" ZZ backs her up by saying, "If you want to live then answer her."
In the end, the man self destruct.
ZZ said not everyone has the poison to kill themselves like that.
ZZ ask who is after her life.
RJX tells him that a friend lost her family to a group of men dressed in black clothes. ZZ ask why he is after RJX. RJX answers, "Maybe he recognize the wrong person.
ZZ follows RJX home. How sweet of ZZ. He is not even mad at her, even though she broke the bracelet.
ZZ picks up the handkerchief that RJX sewed.
MR hears that his subordinate has died. They sent him into Mei Hwa because there is a secret inside. And they want to investigate.
ZZ ask SH to check what this symbol means.
ZZ said, "It's better if I draw it out for you."
I'm thinking the CEO is part of the China's defence or something against the japanese.
All the business people want to cut ties and not do any business with the japanese. One of them said, "My big brother and mom died at the hands of japanese people already." It's a sign, the japanese are starting to invade China.
XHC says, "We are business people, making money comes first. We don't have to cut all ties with japanese, but we can try to minimize the business we do with them."
This isn't such a good idea XHC. My great-grandma is 98 years old this year. She was in China when the japanese attacked. Luckily she lived in a village that were close to hills and mountains, she and my family went into hiding in the mountains. I can't even picture what it was like to be in her shoes.
YMZ ask JL to get XHC when his meeting finish and bring him here.
YMZ orders Yin Di to buy a fresh fish and clean up the house.
I love Yin Di, she has an aura of innocence around her. Has no bad intentions at all, compared to the ones surrounding her.
XYD ask to talk to her. She says okay, last time you gave me 3 minutes, this time I will give you 3 minutes.
XYD says he saw her get on a japanese person's car.
XYD warns her saying not to get too close to japanese people because they are dangerous.
This business guy comes in and says he will not give up japanese business, if he did, he will lose a lot of money.
To make up for his loss, he says he will raise the price of rent. He also says XHC is renting a lot of his places too.
XHC says to buy some land(not too sure if it was land), he will not be look down on by this guy. XHC needs to get back at this man for going against XHC.
JL leads XHC to the backyard. She says YMZ cares for him.
He feels happy and everything is right when seeing her here.
Whatever she does, he will like her. After her accident, he understands how important she is to him.
So the whole point of this planned event is because she wants to enter Mei Hwa. She ask him for help.
XHC says yes to helping her. XHC says, "You are my family, I will give you whatever you want."
TH comes here to yell at RJX. He says ZZ saved and helped her so many times but she stepped all over his feelings.
TH finally tells RJX that the bracelet was a momentum from ZZ's mother.
TH ask RJX to leave Shanghai, but she refuses because she still has to find who murder her family.
RJX questions whether she was wrong about the way she treated ZZ.
The next day RJX ask TH if she can have the bracelet. He rejects her and pushes her away.
SH secretly gets the bracelet for RJX to fix.
He hands the broken bracelet over to RJX.
He also tells her to fix it quickly, if ZZ finds out then there will be trouble.
Look how broken it is, just like ZZ's heart. His heart will be broken until RJX accepts his love.
The man tells her that this bracelet can be fix but it will be expensive. The bracelet will be worthless even if it's fix.
She says that no matter how expensive, she wants to fix it.
The man says he will try his best.
And at this moment while I was watching, I was yelling NOOOOOOO, don't look for the bracelet.
SH admits to taking the bracelet and will take the punishment. ZZ ask him where the bracelet is, but SH says he can't say.
ZZ ask Ma Zi Liu to hit.
ZZ says, "Did you not eat? Hit harder."
I like SH, he is very nice and serious.RJX appears and gives ZZ the fixed bracelet.
She says, "Don't blame SH, it was I who asked him."
RJX said let's forget about everything. ZZ said what has happen, happen, nothing is going to change the way things are now.
ZZ confess his feelings again and RJX says she treats him like a brother. ZZ is determined to make her his women.
RJX leaves and says, "I don't care what you think, my decision will not change."
ZZ is upset that RJX treats him like her brother.
TH said this is a good thing. Calling sister and brother with each other means they will become a family and that is the first step to success. TH, I don't think you should be giving relationship pointers to ZZ.
SH drags TH away. He says TH will get in trouble if he keeps talking.
She questions "The people study abroad, why are they so passionate."
RJX: I guess that's why dad didn't let me study abroad.
The notes drops and LL did not read the note.
OMG! So many men doting on RJX.
Why can't I find a man that waits on me?!

CEO appears out of nowhere and says "there is no noise. Not anyone can enter here, get out."
RJX thought that LL is mad at her but he ask her about the mysterious room. He says his sister is hiding something secretive.
LL: Because you stood me up, tonight you need to meet up with me at 8:00 in front of Mei Hwa.
RJX ask what they are doing. LL answers, "Investigating."
RJX says, "We come here for research often, what is so special about this?"
He says, he needs to investigate this mystery.
RJX says, "If the CEO doesn't want you to know then you should stay away."
LL: we are already here, why not investigate. Plus, what's there to be scared of.
The bodyguard comes in and does a late night inspection.
Second time that there is a pick locking scene.
RJX is impressed by his skill.
LL says he definitely heard sounds.
RJX sees something and she points to it. LL also looks at it.
This episode leaves us with a cliffhanger. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!

ReplyDeleteZZ is too intense & his men should not give him any love advice. It's all his men's fault that he started liking JX so early because they gave him the wrong information about women. Had they not misunderstood that JX likes him & told him to give her a chance, he probably wouldn't be so intense in his pursuit of her.

ReplyDeleteEven though, I don't like how rough ZZ is with JX sometimes, I can't help but feel bad for him. The guy literally wears his heart on sleeve. I want him not to pursue JX and play hard to get now. I want her to realise what she's missing out.
