Cruel Romance ep 16 recap

 The other guests look at RJX and ask who is she, she resembles YMZ.

RJX looks really uncomfortable being in the spotlight, her eyes keep on wandering around.

You can see that ZZ is used to such attention.

The CEO introduce RJX as an employee of Mei Hwa and will do the honours of dancing first.

YMZ says she is happy to be the executive of Mei Hwa. She says it is a shame that she can't dance first but next year she will defiantly be the first to dance.

She also has a gem bracelet to give to the hard working employee, RJX. The bracelet has 10 beads that represent perfect and beautifulness.

 She also wishes the company will aim to be more perfect and beautiful.

Uh Oh, where is XYD?! Everyone looks upon her because she is standing alone.

ZZ steps in to dance with her. He deserves to dance because he learned to dance for hours.

 Such a romantic atmosphere. With soft music playing and the light shining on them. It's every girl's dream. RJX should defiantly fall in love with ZZ this time.

RJX only steped on ZZ foot only once but regained composure after he tells her to remember what he taught her.






A few step away from the dancing couple is JL and YMZ. Now this atmosphere has a lot of jealousy going on.

YMZ and JL didn't know that ZZ can dance. He didn't but he learned it for RJX.

They also didn't know ZZ can dance. CEO says you can't tell what ZZ is thinking of. ZZ may know or may not know. LL says, "I guess it depends on who he does it for."

XYD rushes in only to discover RJX and ZZ dancing.

YMZ ask XYD to dance with her. XYD hesitant and she use reverse psychology on him by saying, "You aren't scared of me are you?"

Just when I thought ZZ and RJX would have some alone time an intruder comes in. That intruder is none other than LL who is in pursuit of RJX's love.

LL drags RJX away and ZZ gives him a glare.

 There isn't much of a romantic atmosphere between YMZ and XYD considering XYD wants to get away from YMZ. Also, XHC glaring at them doesn't make it very romantic. Rather than a romantic couple dance, I say I am getting a messy triangle vibe here.

 CEO ask XHC is it worth it for YMZ. XHC replies, "Having this women brings some interest into life."

Rich old ladies gossip chambers. They talk about how expensive jewellery that YMZ is wearing. They say YMZ was a cabaret girl working a night club.

RJX hears this and tell them if anyone has a choice then he/she would rather be born rich.

YMZ comes in and says "I am the new executive and pack your things because you are fired. Oh, and do not become a cabaret girl because you don't have the look for it."

YMZ: Mrs Wong, how are you? I haven't seen you in a long time. I remember when I was a cabaret girl, your husband was a regular customer. He always told me when you were in bed, it would be like tasting an old and plain paper. Is your relationship better right now?

YMZ tells RJX to follow her. RJX tells her not to listen to their nasty words.

YMZ said she overcame her pain.

YMZ tells her when she sees RJX, she thinks of all the unhappy things that happen because of Rong family.

 XYD was surprise that ZZ learned how to dance because of RJX. XYD says RJX is very important to ZZ. ZZ says, "If you know she is important to me than stay away from her."

 These two are brothers but their relationship is in a downward spiral. It's partly YMZ fault that their relationship is turning bad.

XYD doesn't want to also be in the shadows of XHC. He wants to do something for his family name.

XHC ask where XYD has been these past few days because he wasn't in Shanghai.

Solving the problem with CJR.


XYD: Xiang family doesn't only have you, it has me to help as well. I will prove to you that I can be of help to Xiang family.

Once RJX comes in, she is showered with welcoming. RJX ask what is this. LL says she is famous. And that she dance with ZZ because he never dance with a girl before.

LL out of nowhere proposed to RJX. RJX just laughed and treated as a joke.

I think I would too because they haven't even dated and he wants to marry her.

RJX invites ZZ over to her house. She tells him to make himself at home while she cooks.

She stays a few feet a part and yells while she cooks. Not much of a cooker myself.

ZZ hears the scream and comes in. He back hugs RJX. Is it just me or is it getting hot in here, and no I don't mean the stove.

ZZ ends up cooking, looks like he has a lot of experience.

RJX says it is good. ZZ tells RJX to eat it all up.

RJX says ZZ has protected her many times and brings up the word brother again.

ZZ has a flashback to when TH said it was a good thing being treated like a brother.

ZZ then says eat more. Noooo! Bad choice to listen to TH.

XYD says he is not here on the behalf of XHC but he is here to talk about the rent price. CJR says "you have no right to talk to me."

XYD takes out an undergarment. CJR says "you want to use a women's undergarment to talk to me."

XYD says it's your daughter's garment.

A servant comes in saying his daughter is missing.

"You touch my daughter, do you want me to put a bullet through your head."

XYD: okay, you can do that. But don't you want to see your daughter.

XYD brings CJR to see his daughter.

SM doesn't want to go with his father, but wants to stick with XYD.

CJR yells at XYD because SM doesn't listen to him anymore.

CJR lectures his daughter saying not to trust and there are a lot of lying people. SM says she is in love. CJR says "you don't know what love is."

SM says she does. she loves his eye that turn into a smile. He doesn't let his angry get the best of him. He drinks when he is sad.

SM: I will love him unconditionally. Dad, let me love him.

CJR: Okay, okay. Stop crying. I would promise you.

Uh Oh, someone looks like they are in complete shock.

XYD didn't know SM would fall for him so deeply.

CJR yells at him for doing such a low life attack. He ask if XHC knows, if he does then he will not respect Xiang family anymore.

XYD says he did it himself and faked his feelings for SM, he will resolve the situation.

CJR signs the agreement to lower the rent price. XHC ask if XYD is happy about gaining the agreement. XHC answers his own question and says "of course you are happy."

XHC says you used such a low life way to gain the agreement. It is disrespectful for our whole family and ancestors.

XHC says how am I suppose to face CJR.

XHC rips up the agreement and says we don't need it since it was gained in such a distasteful manner.

YMZ walks into the CEO's office. She sits in her chair and says, "It very comfortable." CEO replies, "It is comfortable but if you sit long then you will become tired."

YMZ: oh really? Then I should sit very long because I am scared of being tired.

YMZ said she obeserved these past few days and two people were not good employees.

The first one is Zhou Chin. She creates a negative atmosphere at work.

The second is RJX. Why am I not surprised that YMZ want to get rid of her. CEO says it would be the company's lost of they let go of RJX because she is in charge of their new medicine product.

These are the two people that YMZ wanted to get rid of. She got rid of one but RJX stays.

YMZ finds Chen manager to be her assistant. Chen manager thought YMZ was mad at her for the accident she caused. YMZ blamed the accident on RJX. How is it RJX's fault? She didn't even push the pole. Chen manager thanks YMZ for letting her keep this job and will do what she orders.

I like the suit that ZZ is wearing. ZZ comes looking for RJX's medical care. ZZ says, "I am used to your nursing and will not go to any other doctors except you."
